A new facelift of the cockpit is not the only benefit the Sting S4 comes with. We have also changed the nose gear design. Aerodynamic flawlesness and elegant appearance are the outcome.

Based on customer´s preference, we are able to deliver aircraft with cockpit that is either furnished with the analog instruments with modern displays combination or with traditional analog devices only. Wide selection of various radio types, GPSs and many other safety and pilot devices are a given.
GARMIN G3X Touch
Pilots of larger aircraft know Garmin well. Recently, a new system – the G3X Touch, suitable for use in ultralight aircraft has been introduced by them. That is why one of the best most reliable glass cockpit solutions of the highest quality is being currently offered to you by us. Their very bright high resolution touchscreen displays that are easily readable even in direct sunlight ensure that all necessary data are only few touches away. 3D outside terrain viewing, various mapping options and surrounding traffic information – all of these and more are being delivered to you in the Garmin G3X Touch!
Design
The aircraft´s design is a result of long and careful developing phase conducted by the TL-ULTRALIGHT company.
The Sting S4 is a composite aircraft with engine located in the front. The primary structure contains 85% of carbon fiber for maximum strength and weight saving. The wing skin and fuselage is a sandwich of carbon and foam core, glued together with epoxy glue. The coating is then evacuated and cured in an oven. Highly stressed parts are made in an autoclave. High safety carbon frame with ROPS ensures crew safety, even in the case of the aicraft being overturned. Varnishing is done using white dual-component paint. The final design touches are made by vinyl foil covering.
Engine
Engine is the heart of every aircraft, and that is why all our aircraft are fitted with engines of the ROTAX brand - they have been tried, they have been tested and come with thousands of flight hours experience.
Standard aircraft fitting includes: Rotax 912 (80 hp), 912S (100hp) or 914 turbo. It is now possible to equip your aircraft with the 912iS engine with a fuel injection system. Propeller can be fixed or in-flight adjustable. You can choose from a wide variety of types and designs. The ideal choice of course is the in-flight adjustable PowerMax propeller.
